Little hearts of The Play School glow with Christmas delight

HYDERABAD, DECEMBER 24, 2024: Students of The Play School, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated Christmas with carols and choreography and a musical skit on the theme of Christ’s birth with religious fervour and gaiety on Tuesday.

Christmas is the season for joy, giving and sharing, laughter and merrymaking, and coming together with family and friends. It is time to rejoice. The preprimary stars sparkled in festive joy, adorned with glittering smiles and twinkling eyes. Christmas was celebrated at The Play School served as a vibrant tapestry weaving together diverse cultural threads. Students, regardless of their background, participate in the festivities, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the customs and traditions associated with Christmas.

The entire premises were decorated with craftwork made by children: stars, bells, socks, joysticks, snowmen, Santa, and everything that represented Christmas. They celebrated Christmas with enchanting grandeur! Dressed in vibrant red and white as Santa Claus, they turned The Play School into a festive wonderland, spreading the purest Christmas vibes far and wide!

The Play School’s Christmas celebrations featured enchanting performances, including Carol singing, a short skit to show the birth of baby Jesus was enacted by the children. The melodious laughter filled the air as the students danced and rocked the floor. The excitement of the students reached its pinnacle when Santa Claus gave a surprise visit by entering the ambience and distributing toffies and cakes to all, dancing to the Jingle Bell tunes and spreading the love of togetherness all around the school. Our little ones are not just celebrating; they are creating memories and embracing the spirit of the season! It is rightly said that Christmas comes only once a year but lasts forever in everyone’s heart.

The Principal Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari conveyed Christmas wishes to all the students, teachers, and their families. She emphasized forgiveness and oneness. Chairman of the school Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and the Correspondent of the school, Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad also extended their wishes and emphasized the importance of Christmas and the message it conveys, such as love, tolerance, and brotherhood. Encouraged students to be grateful to God, their parents, their school, and their teachers.
