
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 05, 2025: Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous) college on the outskirts of Karimnagar celebrated the 11th anniversary of the Goddess Gnana Saraswathi temple on the premises of the college with religious fervour on Thursday.
The temple, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, and arts, saw a large turnout of devotees mostly students from JITS Engineering, Pharmacy and B Ed colleges and Jyothishmathi Academy (CBSE School) who participated in in the various rituals and prayers. The celebrations included traditional pujas, hymns, and devotional songs, marking the occasion with spiritual significance.

The temple was colourfully decorated with mango and banana leaves and flower decorations. As part of the celebrations, the priests have performed special pujas and homams amid chanting of Vedic hymns. JITS Chairman Juvvadai Sagar Rao and his wife J Vijaya and other faculty members participated in the celebrations. It may be mentioned here that the JITS college campus houses Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and Goddess Saraswathi temples.
