RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, DECEMBER 01, 2024: Film star Srikanth, actor Chandrakanth and Producer Vijay visited Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla and offered special prayers to the presiding deities on Sunday as part of last day of Kartika masam.
On this occasion, filmstar Srikanth said that he observed fasting during the auspicious Kartika masam. He said that he was feeling very happy to have darshan of the presiding deity of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy.
The temple priests have rendered ‘asirvachanam’ after special puja. AEO Sravan presented laddu prasadam to the film star. AEO G Ashok, temple superintendent Vari Narsaiah, senior assistant Adla Shiva Sai, junior assistant Simhachari and others were also present.
On the other hand, the devotees had arrived in large numbers to offer prayers to the presiding deities of the shrine following the last Sunday of Kartika masam. The devotees formed serpentine queues to offer prayers and the womenfolk competed in lighting the lamps as part of the ritual at the shrine.
