KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 01, 2024: Around a total of 50 boys and girls (Karatekas) took part in the belt grading test held in different age groups here at Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, on Sunday. They performed before Achievers School Director Ch Venkateswarlu, Principal Ch Pallavi, Gojuryu Karate Do Telangana Chief Instructor Surabhi Venugopal, Instructor Vinesh, students and a large number of parents.
Participants exhibited their skills in different forms of karate namely dachi, shuki, firi, kata and kumite during the test and were awarded belts according to the results. About fifty students received karate belts. Among them, K Saiteja, a ninth grade student of Achievers School, achieved the black belt.
On the occasion, chief guests encouraged the players to continue their hard work to achieve the next step. They opined that learning karate from a young age will increase self-confidence and self-esteem, especially for girls, and help them overcome the problems they face in life. The bravery displayed by the students on this occasion was impressive. They opined that in the future, the students should participate at the national and international levels and win many more medals, making our state and country proud.
