

HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 29, 2024: Students of The Play School, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, celebrated the Diwali, the festival of lights, with devotion by organizing colourful cultural programmes on the eve of the festival on Tuesday.
The tiny tots were dressed up in traditional attire. The programme commenced with the chanting of Lakshmi vandana and then a brief description of the festival by tiny tots. They spoke a few lines to share information as to why and how Diwali is celebrated.

From twinkling diyas to contagious giggles, every moment shimmered with love and joy. Dressed in vibrant, colourful outfits, they added more spark and charm to the gist of Diwali. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a skit depicting the killing of Narakasura by Satyabhama and Lord Krishna and Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. Followed by a scintillating dance performances which added much exuberance and brought great joy to the audience. These super cute kids were taught about the significance of ‘saying no to crackers’ to contribute their bit to saving our environment. The stage was decorated with colourful lanterns and diyas.
Principal Dr T. Lalitha Kumari appreciated the children for their efforts and conveyed Diwali greetings to the extended family of SNS. The celebration was an aim to make the children celebrate a clean and safe Diwali.
Chairman of the school Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and the Correspondent of the school, Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad also extended their wishes and emphasized the message of a green, clean, and peaceful Diwali.
Let us together light the lamp of happiness, the lamp of prosperity, and the lamp of knowledge that spreads across the globe to dispel sorrow, poverty, and intolerance, taking us toward hope and humanity.
