HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Friday reviewed the arrangements being made for the Telangana Global Summit 2026, scheduled to be held from December 7 to 9, 2026, at the Secretariat. He directed all the departments and committees concerned to ensure meticulous planning and advance coordination for the successful conduct of the prestigious global event.
During the review meeting, the Chief Secretary emphasised the need for early and comprehensive engagement with all delegates and invitees. He instructed the officials to send invitations well in advance and establish contact with the delegates sufficiently ahead of the summit so that their travel, accommodation, transportation, security and other requirements could be planned and arranged smoothly.
The Chief Secretary also directed the officials to prepare a holistic action plan for the Advisory Board and Sectoral Executive Board of the Global Summit. He further directed the officials to organise a curtain-raiser event in New Delhi by the end of this month to create wider national and international visibility for the Telangana Global Summit 2026. The event should highlight Telangana’s investment opportunities, growth story, key sectors and the vision of the State for the summit, he said.
The Chief Secretary reviewed in detail the preparations being undertaken by the Venue Committee, Media Committee and Hospitality Committee. He took stock of the progress made by each committee and sought timelines for completing the various preparatory activities.
Reviewing the arrangements of the Venue Committee, the Chief Secretary directed the officials to ensure that all infrastructure and logistical requirements at the summit venue are planned comprehensively, keeping in view the participation of national and international delegates.
The Media Committee was directed to prepare a comprehensive communication and publicity strategy for the summit. He emphasised the importance of extensive media outreach and effective dissemination of information about the summit and its outcomes.
The Hospitality Committee was asked to ensure proper arrangements for delegates, including reception, accommodation, transportation and other hospitality requirements.
The Chief Secretary directed the officials to complete the tendering process by next week so that there would be sufficient time for execution, testing and finalisation of all arrangements well ahead of the summit.
He called upon the officials to work in close coordination and adopt a time-bound approach, with regular monitoring of the progress of preparations. He emphasised that the Telangana Global Summit 2026 should be organised to the highest standards and serve as a major platform to showcase Telangana as a preferred global destination for investments, innovation, partnerships and economic growth.
Special Chief Secretariy Energy Navin Mittal, Special Chief Secretary Tourism Vani Prasad and representatives of the concerned committees participated in the review meeting.
