TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024: Yet again, a leopard was sighted near the Control room en route to Srivari Mettu on Saturday night on the Tirumala hills.
The security who was guarding at the control room noticed the wild animal and rushed into the room and locked himself and alerted the TTD forest and vigilance officials. Devotees expressed fear over the presence of wild cats. The CCTV footage showed that the dogs barked and chased the wild animal.
With the annual brahmotsavams around the corner in a few days, the presence of wild animals had become of concern for the devotees visiting the shrine and people trekking to the shrine.
