KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024: BJP Kisan Morcha Former National General Secretary P Sugunakar Rao has announced to contest the ensuing Legislative Council elections from the Karimnagar Graduates Constituency.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Sunday, Mr Sugunakar Rao exuded confidence that the BJP would finalise his candidature from the Karimnagar Graduates constituency in the ensuing elections. He said that he was confident of getting elected to the Council with the support of party rank and file and also unemployed youth and other graduates.
Alleging that the present Congress government had failed to fulfill the aspirations of the people of the Telangana state, he said that the Congress government had also failed like the BRS government in the state. He charged that there was no government control in the Congress regime. He said that the government is riding on ‘HYDRAA lion’.
Expressing concern over the increasing unemployment, he said if elected he would be the voice of the unemployed youth in the legislative council. He said that he would take up the enrolment drive of all the graduates of the constituency comprising of integrated Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Medak districts.
