KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 09, 2024: Former Jammikunta Agriculture Market Committee chairman and Congress leader T Sammi Reddy has urged the police machinery to take action against Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy for making derogatory remarks against the entire police department from the rank of constable to the DGP.
In a statement here on Saturday, Mr Sammi Reddy alleged that the BRS legislator at a party meeting in Karimnagar town on Thursday abused the police department for registering cases against the BRS leaders, who were involved in various offences including land mafia, sand mafia etc. He found fault with the statement of MLA for saying that the BRS government would take revenge against the police officials with ‘interest’.
Reminding that Mr Kaushik Reddy as MLC had reined terror in the Huzurabad assembly segment by registering false cases against the people, who questioned him, he said that the people of Huzurabad segment are happy and peaceful with the Congress government. He also ridiculed the BRS MLA for making statements on Minister for Transport and BC welfare Ponnam Prabhakar and the Congress government. He warned the BRS leader to mend his ways or face serious consequences.
