KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 01, 2026: In a shocking incident, an LLB second-year student has reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling in her hostel room on the premises of Satavahana University on Sunday.
Sources said that the student, identified as D Chandrakala (24), a native of Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district, was found hanging inside her room in a hostel on the university premises. Following the information, the Kothapalli police rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem to the Government General Hospital in Karimnagar.
Even as the student unions alleged that the student might have been forced to commit suicide due to academic pressure, the university officials suspect that personal reasons might have driven the student to die by suicide.
