WARANGAL, JUNE 10, 2024: In a shocking incident, the local residents had lodged a complaint with the police saying they had found a dead body floating in the waters of Reddypuram Kovalakunta in Hanamkonda on Monday.
The police, who rushed to the tank and tried to retrieve the body, were shocked to notice the movement of the person and standing after pulling him out of the waters. During the interrogation, the person had informed the police that he was hailing from Kavali of Nellore district and working in a granite quarry from 7 am to 7 pm in hot summer for the past 10 days.
In order to get some relief from the sweltering heat wave conditions, he had reportedly slept on the waters of the tank. The locals, who noticed the person floating him in the villagers for several hours, suspected that it was a dead body and alerted the police and 108 ambulance services.
The police were shocked when the person informed that he was relaxing in the waters from the sweltering heat wave conditions. As there was no other go, the police kept smiling and left him go.
