HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 21, 2026: In a shocking incident, a major fire broke out at a Ganesh mandap set up in the basement parking area of Jupiter Apartments in Uppal Bhagayath in the wee hours of Monday morning at around 2 am.
Sources said the fire broke out when a lamp fell and caught fire, reducing the mandap to ashes. In the mishap, two cars, two motorcycles, and a bicycle were completely damaged after the fire spread to the basement parking area. Luckily, there were no casualties.
Following the news, the fire tenders and police rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire and prevented its spread in the building. The Uppal police have launched an investigation to ascertain the exact reason for the fire mishap.
