NIRMAL, NOVEMBER 02, 2024: In a swift action, the Nirmal town police have arrested a robber who made a vain bid to steal cash from an ATM machine belonging to Canara Bank at Doctor’s lane in Nirmal town in the wee hours of Saturday.
The Canara Bank manager dialed 100 and informed that some person was trying to break open the ATM machine. The police party lead by inspector Prem Kumar rushed to the ATM and examined the CCTV footage. They intensified the checking and found the suspected person at Bus stand area. The accused was identified as Kumcham Gangadhar from Bopparam village.
Superintendent of Police Dr G Janaki congratulated the Inspector for instant and swift action to nab the accused involved making an attempt to rob the cash from ATM machine.
