Sources said that the Senior Assistant of the Treasury office demanded a bribe from a complainant for clearance of pending bills. Unable to bear the mental agony, the complainant approached the ACB, who laid a trap and caught the senior assistant while accepting Rs 7,000 cash in his office on the Collectorate premises.
