

KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 11, 2025: Students of Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town paid rich tributes to great social reformers Dr BR Ambedkar and Mahatma Jyothirao Phule and their invaluable contributions towards social justice, education and equality at a special assembly conducted on the school premises on Friday.

The highlight of the event was a powerful monologue delivered by a student dressed as the Father of Indian Constitution Dr B.R. Ambedkar.
Chief guest for the occasion, Advocate and Assistant Government Pleader Chamanapally Ramesh addressed the students with great enthusiasm. He emphasized the importance of knowing our history to create history and elaborated on the groundbreaking reforms initiated by Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Dr Ambedkar, particularly in the field of education. He urged the students to uphold the values of gender equality and strive to bring equity in every walk of life.
Principal Renuka Balivada, and Laxman Rao, Advisor to the Managing Committee, felicitated the esteemed guest with a token of appreciation. Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polasani and Director (Academics) Dr T. Lalitha Kumari, appreciated the students for imbibing and beautifully presenting the teachings of these legendary reformers. The event was a great success in instilling a sense of social responsibility and reverence for the great leaders among the students.
