The government would release only official Telangana song on the formation day on June 2
HYDERABAD, MAY 30, 2024: The Telangana state government has decided to postpone the decision to announce the new emblem of the Telangana state following the opposition over the removal of iconic Kakatiya thoranam and Charminar from the emblem.
Initially, the state government has decided to release the new emblem of the state on Telangana formation day celebrations on June 2. However, following the opposition and suggestions from various quarters of the society, the government had postponed the release of new emblem. It had decided to further hold consultations with all sections of society and experts advice and finalise the new emblem, according to sources.
The government would release the official song of ‘Jaya Jayahe Telangana’ written by eminent poet Andesri and music composed by Oscar award winner MM Keeravani on Telangana formation day celebrations on June 2. The complete song is of 13.30 minutes duration. However, the official song was reduced 2.30 minutes to be played during the official programmes and visit of national and international representatives.
