HYDERABAD, AUGUST 10, 2026: Renowned poet, writer, literary critic, translator, multilingual scholar, and Junior Commissioned Officer of the Indian Army, Peruka Raju, has received yet another distinguished honour in recognition of his outstanding contributions to literature, translation, ethical values, and humanitarian service.
The International Academy of Ethics recently conferred upon him Life Membership, acknowledging his dedicated contributions to literature, translation, ethical values, and humanitarian service.
In another significant recognition, MBR, Magic & Art University conferred an Honorary Doctorate on Peruka Raju at a special ceremony held today in Faridabad, honouring his notable contributions to literature and translation. The programme was attended by the University Vice-Chancellor, a Supreme Court Judge, eminent civil dignitaries, students, and others.
Raju holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature and a PhD, besides three honorary doctorates. He has authored 15 books in different languages and has made significant contributions to poetry, fiction, literary criticism, and translation. Patriotism, human values, social justice, and national integration are prominent themes reflected in his writings.
As the founder of My Gift, a voluntary organisation, he continues to serve society through educational, humanitarian, and social-service initiatives. His inspiring message, “Encouragement is the greatest gift,” has motivated many.
As a soldier, literary personality, translator, and humanitarian, Peruka Raju’s multifaceted contributions continue to serve as an inspiration to society.
