SIDDIPET, JUNE 24, 2026: Kaveri University organised a Self-Defence Training Programme for its students and faculty members to enhance personal safety awareness and practical self-protection skills.
The training programme was conducted by Mr. U. Madan Goud, Sub-Inspector, Cyber Crime Department, Hyderabad, and Mr. Yehiel Shalom, a renowned security professional, senior instructor, and training manager from Israel with more than 36 years of experience in security operations.
During the session, the resource persons demonstrated various self-defence techniques, situational awareness strategies, cyber safety measures, and methods to respond effectively during emergencies. The participants actively engaged in the practical demonstrations and interactive sessions.
Kaveri University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. V. Praveen Rao appreciated the trainers for sharing their expertise and emphasised the importance of self-defence and security awareness among students and faculty in today’s world.
The programme was attended by University Registrar Dr. B. Srinivasulu, Director Polsani Harsha Rao, Deans Dr. Pratap Kumar Reddy, Dr. Konda Srinivas, Dr. Sunita Mehta, IQAC Head Dr. B. Kavitha Rani, senior professors, heads of departments, faculty members, and students.
