Highest single-day sale of 5.13 lakh Laddus on December 27
TIRUMALA, JANUARY 01, 2025: In 2025, the sale of Srivari Laddu prasadam reached a record high, creating an All Time Highest Sale in a decade.
Compared to 2024, laddu sales increased by 10 per cent. While 12.15 crore laddus were sold to devotees in 2024, around 13.52 crore laddus were sold in 2025(an additional 1.37 crore laddus compared to the previous year).
Marking an unprecedented milestone in the past decade, devotees purchased a maximum of 5.13 lakh laddus on a single day, December 27, 2025.
TTD prepares around 4 lakh laddus every day and makes them available to devotees. On important days, production goes up to as many as 8 -10lakh laddus(including buffer stock).
Around 700 Sri Vaishnava Brahmins work in two shifts, round the clock, at the Srivari Potu, preparing the laddu prasadam with strict adherence to religious discipline and tradition.
In recent times, devotees have expressed happiness and satisfaction over the improved quality and taste of the laddus prepared by TTD.
