The stalls will feature clay lamps, natural colors, biodegradable decorative materials, jute and cotton bags, herbal oils, traditional spices, homemade snacks, health drinks, and handicrafts, all representing the true spirit of Swadeshi craftsmanship.
The Eco Bazaar not only promotes the idea of a green and pollution-free Deepavali but also provides a platform for students and local entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial potential. It emphasises the importance of supporting local artisans and adopting eco-conscious consumer habits.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. D. Varalaxmi stated,
> “Every student should come forward to encourage Swadeshi products and contribute to environmental protection. Such initiatives strengthen creativity, self-reliance, and social responsibility among young learners.”
