Two-Day Workshop on Research Methodology Concludes Successfully at SRR Government College in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 13, 2026: Prof. P. Satish Kumar, Registrar of Satavahana University, reiterated that students should undertake quality research to identify appropriate solutions to various problems faced by society. The two-day workshop on Research Methodology, organised by the Department of Commerce, S.R.R. Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), under the Academic Empowerment Programme (AEP) of Satavahana University, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Satavahana University, concluded successfully on Thursday.
Addressing the participants as the chief guest at the valedictory session, Prof. P. Satish Kumar stated that quality research would not only help find solutions to various problems faced by the business, commercial and industrial sectors but would also lead to new ideas, creative approaches and innovations. He advised students to make effective use of the available Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and advanced technologies for conducting quality research.
On the occasion, the Principal of the College, Prof. Kalvakunta Ramakrishna, stated that research is a continuous process and encouraged the participants to acquire a comprehensive understanding of research methodology and publish their research papers in reputed national and international journals.
Speaking on the occasion, T. Rajaiah, Head of the Department of Commerce, stated that research methodology is highly useful for students at the PhD, Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels. He added that the participants had gained an in-depth understanding of various aspects of research methodology through the workshop.
The Workshop Convener, M. Malla Reddy, stated that the primary objective of the workshop was to provide Commerce researchers and Undergraduate and Postgraduate students with a comprehensive understanding of research methodology and to enhance their skills in various statistical tools and techniques to come out with a solution-based and quality research work.
In the session, D. Venkata Rao explained various statistical tools and techniques in detail. The other resource persons, Harjoth Kaur and Rotte Kiran Kumar, explained the essential techniques and guidelines to be followed while preparing a research report and highlighted the various Artificial Intelligence tools useful for research, respectively.
