Delivering the chief guest message at the World Calligraphy or Handwriting Day and International Youth Day jointly organised by Lead India National Club and Satavahana Lions Club on the premises of Karkhanagadda Government High School on Thursday, he said that our handwriting is also very useful for showing talent in studies. He said that students with good handwriting get more marks than expected. He said that the foundation for good handwriting skills is laid at the school level itself. He said that it has been proven that youth with good handwriting are creative, clear, talented, calm, have good memory, mental agility and are disciplined. He said that it is observed that those who do not have good handwriting do not get adequate marks despite having knowledge.
On this occasion, handwriting competitions were organised for students from class 6 to class 10 and 20 winners were awarded certificates and prizes. In this programme, school principal S Satyanarayana Chari, Satavahana Lions Club President Lion Marripelli Mahender, Lion D Tirupati Reddy, Lion Narla Venugopal, Lion Vadluri Srinivas spoke and congratulated the students. School teacher Nandi Srinivas, along with 250 students and others, participated in this programme.
