HANAMKONDA, JULY 17, 2026: Vaagdevi Degree & PG College, Hanamkonda, successfully organised a one-day workshop on “The Power of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): From Ideas to Patents, Innovation and Commercialisation” on Friday. The programme was organised by the IPR Cell in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Mr. Ram Konduru, Co-founder of ImmunisIP, participated as the keynote speaker. He delivered an insightful session on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights, the patent filing process, the need to protect innovations, and the opportunities for commercialising research. He also interacted with the participants and addressed their queries.
On this occasion, C.H. Devender Reddy, Founder of Vaagdevi Colleges, C.H. Vahini Devi, Director of Academics, and Mr. C.H. Viswambhar Reddy, CEO, congratulated the organisers for successfully conducting the workshop. They emphasised that such programmes play a vital role in fostering a research-oriented mindset among students and faculty members.
The programme was attended by K. Sirisha, Director of R&D; A. Sheshachalam, Principal; P. Harender Reddy, Vice Principal; G. Raja Prasad, IQAC Coordinator; G. Vikram, Dean of Life Sciences; Heads of Departments, Course Coordinators, faculty members, and a large number of teachers, researchers, and students from Vaagdevi Colleges as well as other institutions.
