TIRUPATI, OCTOBER 24, 2024: TTD Executive Officer J Syamala Rao has directed the officials concerned to provide best possible services to the devotees coming to Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple during the upcoming auspicious Karthika month.
The TTD EO went around the Kapileswara Swamy temple on Wednesday evening and also inspected the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kalyanakatta, Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasada stall, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Pushkarini, queue lines and gave valuable suggestions to reduce devotees’ hardships during the Karthika month. Earlier the EO performed a special Puja in the temple.
Later, he also inspected the TTD Panchagavya products and Agarbatti sales stalls and directed officials on hygiene maintenance and queue lines. He also interacted with the devotees and enquired about the facilities being provided by TTD in the temple. Devotees also expressed satisfaction and lauded the services.
Auspicious Karthika month
In the holy month of Kartika, a special Abhishekam will be performed at the temple of Sri Kapileswara Swamy in Tirupati. Special pooja will be held in the temple every day during this entire month.
As part of this, on November 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th, at 2 am in the morning, the deity is awakened and abhishekam is performed. Devotees are offered darshan from 5 am to 2 pm and from 4.30 pm to 9 pm. Abhishekam and Sahasranamarchana will be performed from 2.30 to 4.30 pm. Abhishekam will be held to Sri Chandikeswara Swamy along with the Trisula Snanam on December 1 from 12 noon to 1 pm.
From 6 pm to 7 pm, Lakshdeeparadhana, Panchamurthy Aradhana to Sri Vigneswara Swamy, Sri Valli Devasena Sameta Subramanya Swamy, Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru, Sri Chandikeswara Swamy will be performed. After that, Panchamurthys are paraded through the city streets.
