KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 03, 2025: Even as the Municipal Corporation of Karimnagar is making tall claims of supplying daily water and planning to introduce 24×7 water supply in some localities of Karimnagar town, the residents of Kisan nagar locality in Karimnagar town were struggling to fetch at least a potful of water due to inadequate supply of water by the authorities concerned.
The residents of Kisan nagar alleged that the MCK was providing them only alternate day water supply that too with low pressure and they were unable to fetch at least a potful of water to quench their thirst. Municipal corporator Kamsala Srinivas complained to the MCK authorities a fortnight ago but in vain.
On Friday, Municipal corporator Kamsala Srinivas personally visited various localities of his division to inspect the supply of water. He was shocked to see a very low-pressure water supply which was unable to fill a pot in an hour.
The Municipal Corporator had complained to Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai to restore proper water supply to the residents of his division.
