Scholarship Cheques of Rs.18,000 each distributed to B Tech first-year Students
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 30, 2026: Reaffirming its commitment to ensuring that financial constraints do not become a barrier to the students’ higher education and to encouraging academic excellence, Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (Autonomous), Karimnagar, once again demonstrated its social responsibility by distributing scholarship cheques of Rs.18,000 each to 82 first-year B Tech students admitted to the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Sri Juvvadi Sagar Rao announced that the institute would continue the scholarship cheque distribution programme in the coming years as well. He also stated that cash incentives had been presented to students who secured Gold Medals in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements. Students received scholarship cheques through the Shalini Educational Trust.
Addressing the gathering, the Chairman emphasised that education is the most valuable asset in shaping a student’s future. He said the scholarship scheme was introduced to ensure that deserving students are not forced to discontinue their education due to financial difficulties. He encouraged students to remain focused on their studies without financial stress and work diligently towards achieving their academic and career goals.

He further announced that every student admitted under the scholarship scheme would receive Rs,18,000 per year for four years, amounting to a total scholarship of Rs.72,000. This financial assistance, he explained, would help students meet expenses related to tuition fees, books, projects, technical training, and other educational requirements.
Sri J.Sagar Rao stated that Jyothishmathi Educational Institutions place equal importance on student welfare alongside academic excellence. He remarked that “The success of our students is the true measure of our institution’s success,” and reiterated that the institute’s mission is to develop skilled engineers who contribute meaningfully to society. He also assured that more innovative student welfare initiatives would be introduced in the future.
Students who received the scholarship cheques and their parents expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the management of Jyothishmathi, especially Chairman Sri Juvvadi Sagar Rao, for this generous initiative. They said the scholarship not only reduced the financial burden on their families but also motivated them to pursue higher education with greater confidence and dedication.
The programme was attended by parents, college representatives, faculty members, Heads of Departments, staff, and students in large numbers.
