HYDERABAD, JULY 13, 2026:Â Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Energy Bhatti Vikramarka, has directed the Singareni management to take an early and positive decision on the pending issues concerning nearly 2,200 officers working in the company. He instructed the management to give priority to the representations submitted by the Singareni Officers’ Association regarding Pay revision and implementation of the Performance Related Payment (PRP) scheme on the lines of Coal India and to expedite the decision-making process.
Leaders of the Singareni Officers’ Association recently met the Deputy Chief Minister to express their gratitude for his pivotal role in securing the mining lease for the Tadicherla-II Coal Block through the special intervention of the People’s Government. During the meeting, they also requested him to direct the management to resolve various issues concerning Singareni officers at the earliest.
Responding positively to their representations, Shri Bhatti Vikramarka held a detailed review meeting on Monday morning with Singareni Chairman and Managing Director, Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti, and Director (Personnel & Finance), Shri Gowtham Potru. He reiterated that the People’s Government is committed to the development of Singareni and acknowledged the significant contribution made by Singareni workers and officers in ensuring energy security for the State’s industrial growth.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed the management to give special attention to resolving the officers’ grievances so that no dissatisfaction prevails among them. He also instructed the management to engage with the office-bearers of the Officers’ Association and instil confidence among them. He made it clear that a positive decision on the officers’ demands should be taken within the next two to three months without any delay.
He further observed that, in view of the changing global economic environment and increasing competition, Singareni must enhance its competitiveness in coal production and marketing. He emphasized that officers have a crucial role to play in transforming Singareni into a diversified, internationally competitive enterprise in the coming years. He also advised the leaders of the Officers’ Association to motivate officers to actively contribute towards achieving this objective.

The President of the Singareni Officers’ Association, Shri Tallapalli Lakshmipathi Goud, and General Secretary, Shri Peddi Narasimhulu, expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Bhatti Vikramarka for their efforts in securing new coal blocks to ensure the sustainable future of Singareni.
They stated that they had recently met the Deputy Chief Minister to explain the issues concerning Singareni officers. They thanked him for responding positively and directing the Singareni management to take immediate steps towards resolving their grievances. They also conveyed their special appreciation to the Deputy Chief Minister for his support.
The Association leaders affirmed that Singareni officers would extend their wholehearted support to every initiative undertaken by the State Government for the growth, expansion, and sustainable future of the company, and would work with complete dedication for the continued progress of Singareni.
