Anna–Akka Mentorship AI & Digital Learning Programme Successfully Launched in Eight Government Schools
HYDERABAD, JULY 01, 2026: As part of the Anna–Akka Mentorship (Telangana Internship on AI & Digital Learning) initiative of the Government of Telangana,a total of 51 final-year student interns from Government Degree College, Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy district, successfully launched the Community Engagement Programme in eight Government schools on July 01, 2026.
The programme was inaugurated by S. Venkateshwarlu, District Educational Officer (DEO), Rangareddy, at ZPHS Satamrai. Addressing the gathering, the DEO emphasised the importance of Artificial Intelligence, digital literacy, and mentorship in preparing students for the future. He encouraged the interns to guide school students with dedication and responsibility.
The inaugural programme was graced by M. Himabindu, Principal, Government Degree College, Rajendranagar; Laxman Naik, MEO, Shamshabad; M. Satyanarayana and S. D. Bhavani, Nodal Officers, along with the Headmasters of the participating schools.

From July to September 2026, the interns will visit their assigned schools twice a week and teach Artificial Intelligence and Digital Learning concepts to school students under the Anna–Akka Mentorship Programme.
