KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 19, 2025: The Telangana Judo Association has unanimously elected the new office-bearers for the years 2025-29 at its general body meeting in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
The elections were conducted under the supervision of N Parameshwar, Judo Federation of India observer Joy Varghese, Telangana Olympic Association representative P Malla Reddy, and Telangana State Sports Authority representative V Srinivas.
Banda Raj Kumar (Warangal district) has been unanimously elected as the president of Telangana Judo association, Gasireddy Janardhan Reddy (Karimnagar district) as the general secretary, Vice presidents Kadari Anantha Reddy (Karimnagar), Pabbati Balaraju (Yadadri Bhuvanagiri), Badaneni Rajender Reddy (Jagtial) and Mateti Sanjeev Kumar (Peddapalli).
Joint Secretaries Rayireddy Shankar Reddy (Siddpet), Siliveri Mahender (Peddapalli), Tipparapu Satyanarayana (Rajanna-Sircilla) and Chandanagiri Nagaraju (Warangal). Treasurer Rayireddy Mahender Reddy (Siddipet) and EC members include; A Sai Charan (Adilabad), Y Sai Kiran (Nirmal), K Tirupati Goud (Rajanna-Sircilla), K Rakesh (Asifabad), A Ramesh Reddy (Mancherial), M Srinivas (Jagtial).
Telangana Judo association chairman and state legislative council deputy chairman Banda Prakash had felicitated the newly elected office-bearers. On this occasion, Mr Prakash said that Judo would emerge as a crazy sport and stressed the need to learn the self-defence game of Judo.
