People are ready to beat KCR and KTR with stones
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 18, 2024: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has said that the BRS is an outdated party and the people are frustrated to hear the names of its president KCR and its working president KTR and ready beat with stones.
Talking to newsmen in Sircilla textile town on Sunday, Mr Sanjay Kumar said that the people are least concerned about the merger and alliances of the political parties. Stating that the BJP has no concern to ally with the corrupt BRS in the Telangana state, he said that the Congress party wants the BRS MLAs.
He alleged that the Congress party had raked up the issue of the merger of BRS with BJP only to divert the attention of people for failing to fulfil the promises of six guarantees including the farmers’ debt loan waiver. He said that Congress promised to waive off Rs 40,000 crore crop loans, but allocated only Rs 26,000 crore in the state budget and waived only Rs 17,000 crore.
Coming down heavily on the Congress government for its failure to implement crop loan waivers, Sanjay alleged that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had deceived farmers by not providing crop loan waivers to all the farmers. “BJP will fight on behalf of farmers. We will not rest until all the farmers receive crop loan waiver amounts,” he said.
He charged that the Congress government failed to fulfil the promise of distributing one tula gold and Rs 1 lakh as part of the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. He also alleged that the Congress had deceived the unemployed by promising to fill up 30,000 vacancies and filled up only 12,000 vacancies.
