Tirumala to lead the spiritual movement: TTD chairman

TIRUMALA, JANUARY 31, 2024: The World renowned Hindu Religious Institute of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is organising a three-day Sanatana Dharmika Sadas from February 3 to 5 inviting various Peethadhipathis (Pontiffs) across the country and all set to lead a “Spiritual Movement”, sustaining the values of Hindu Sanatana Dharma for the future generations, asserted TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy.

After personally inspecting the ongoing arrangements for the Dharmika Sadas at Astana Mandapam in Tirumala on Wednesday along with the TTD JEO for Health and Education Sada Bhargavi and other officials, he said, TTD has been organizing wide range of spiritual programmes under the auspices of its Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad(HDPP) preventing religious conversions in remote and backward areas. With a noble aim to take forward the values embedded in the great epics, heritage, culture and religious texts of Hindu Dharma to reach the public especially the younger generation of today across the nation, TTD has mulled this three day Dharmika Sadas where in so far 57 Peethadhipathis have given their consent to take part. “We welcome the suggestions by the Pontiffs and Seers and implement their suggestions in carrying out more Dharmik programmes in a comprehensive manner”, he maintained.

The Chairman further said, that TTD, in the past, has also organised unique charitable programs like Dalit Govindam, Kalyanamastu, Kaisika Dwadasi and many more which helped in preventing religious conversions in the remote areas.  Expressing his confidence that this Dharmika Sadas programme will help enhancing the ethical and spiritual values among the citizens and especially youth he said, “For the last several decades, Tirumala has been the epitome of spiritual capital in the entire country and again today the pilgrim centre has geared up to lead yet another Spiritual Movement across the country with the valuable suggestions by the great pontiffs and seers in the ensuing Dharmika Sadas, for further strengthening our Sanatana Dharma”, he asserted.
