KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 20, 2024: Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao has formally met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar at Mahashakthi temple in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
The Union Minister made a maiden visit to Karimnagar town on Wednesday after taking charge in New Delhi, On Wednesday, the BJP rank and file accorded a grand welcome to Mr Sanjay Kumar.
On Thursday, the Mayor met Mr Bandi Sanjay Kumar and felicitated him with a shawl and a flower bouquet. He also congratulated the Minister on his achievement. Municipal incharge commissioner Swaroopa Rani also met the Union Minister.
The meeting of Mayor, who belongs to the BRS, with the Union Minister attained importance in Karimnagar town as on Wednesday at a press conference, the Mayor was all praise for Bandi Sanjay Kumar as Karimnagar MP for supporting the MCK in getting the central funds under Smart city programme for the development of the town. He also said that the Karimnagar town would further progress under the leadership of Union Minister.
