HYDERABAD, JULY 23, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy moved condolence motion in memory of Secunderabad Cantonment MLA Lasya Nandita in the Assembly on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Sayanna was born in a very ordinary family and reached to the height in his political career. Sayanna rendered service to the people as an MLA and passed away in the public life.
People elected Lasya Nandita as the Cantonment MLA as Sayanna’s successor. It is unfortunate that Lasya died in road accident. Sayanna was soft-spoken and maintained friendly relations with everyone irrespective of their political affiliation.
Sayanna fought for the merger of Secunderabad cantonment area with GHMC. Unfortunately Sayanna was not among us when the GHMC and Cantonment merged. Lasya would also have been happy if she was alive.
“Sayanna and Lasya were no longer with us. They remain in our hearts forever. Our government will take forward their ambitions and fulfill their aspirations. My heartfelt condolences to Lasya family and moving condolence motion in the house”, the CM stated.
