Senior IPS officer Rajiv Ratan’s final rites conducted with state honours

HYDERABAD, APRIL 10, 2024: The last rites of Telangana State Senior IPS officer and Director-General of Vigilance and Enforcement Rajiv Ratan, who died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning, were held with full state honours at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee hills, Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Secretary Shanti Kumari, DGP Ravi Gupta, senior IPS and IAS officers and his friends and family members participated in the last rites of Mr Rajiv Ratan. The Chief Minister and incharge governor Radhakrishnan expressed their condolences to the bereaved family members.

His untimely demise has left a void among his peers. Several IPS officers visited to pay their respects to their colleague who away suddenly while on duty. The 1991 batch IPS officer, worked in Karimnagar as SP and DIG, he served as IG (operations), MD police Housing Corporation, and DGP Fire services.
