Kondagattu temple shrine gearing up for Hanuman Jayanthi celebrations

JAGTIAL, APRIL 10, 2024: Sri Anjaneye Swamy devasthanam in Kondagattu of Mallial mandal in Jagtial is gearing for the ensuing Hanuman jayanthi celebrations which would be conducted on a grand scale with the arrival of scores of devotees from various parts of the state.

The Chinna Hanuman jayanthi celebrations will be held on April 23 and the Pedda Hanuman jayanthi would be held on June 1. Several thousands of devotees take Hanuman deeksha by wearing the ‘mala’ and saffron dress. Braving scorching summer, the devotees walk barefoot to the Kondagattu temple shrine from various parts of the state.

In view of Chinna Hanuman jayanthi celebrations, Jagtial SP Sanpreet Singh visited the shrine and reviewed the arrangements with the temple authorities, R&B and engineering officials and also local police. He informed the officials erect barricades and cabins for the smooth movement of the devotees in queue lines. He also instructed the officials to install sign boards to give proper directions to the devotees. He informed the police to make arrangements of parking for various vehicles and restriction of vehicles on the ghat road.

He also informed the temple authorities to complete the pending engineering works, erection of temporary pandals and other amenities to the devotees. Temple EO Chandrashekhar, AEO Anjaiah, Jagtial DSP Raghu Chander, Mallial CI Neelam Ravi, SI Abdul Rahim, temple sanitary inspector U Chandrashekhar, Sudhakar Reddy, AE Laxman Rao and others were also present.
