PEDDAPALLI, MARCH 22, 2024: The World Water Day Walk has been flagged off by Mr Kedar Ranjan Pandu (ED-R&T) on Friday morning followed by employees, family members, CISF and school children. A skit performance from students enlightening our impression on global water crisis was followed by Water Pledge.
During the one week long celebration various activities including quiz competition for families of the township as well as drawing competition for children were conducted. A Jyothivani session on “Role of water quality management strategies” by Dr. Priya.K.L was also conducted.
The main motive of this event was to make students and employees aware of the decreasing quality and amount of drinking water and the ways to conserve water. The speakers motivated students and shared their views about different methods of water conservation.
