Karimnagar MP urges doctors to help accident victims on humanitarian grounds

Ninth annual conference Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Association conference (TOSACON) concludes in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 04, 2024:  Expressing concern over incidences of road accidents on the highways and serious fatalities, Karimnagar MP and BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar has urged the medical fraternity to help the accident victims on humanitarian grounds and save the lives.

Participating at the closing ceremony of 9th annual conference of Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Conference in Karimnagar town on Sunday, Mr Sanjay said several accident victims were losing their lives due to non-availability of proper treatment. The victims cannot go to private hospitals for treatment due to high costs and the facilities are not available in the government hospital, he said and urged the medical fraternity to give concrete suggestions for providing treatment to accident victims in private hospitals under Ayushman Bharath scheme, which is presently available only in government hospitals.

Hailing the services of medical fraternity, he said that the doctors alone are treated as demi-gods by the people for saving the lives. He urged the Orthopaeditic surgeons to provide medical treatment at lesser rates in Karimnagar during the emergencies and save lives.

He also congratulated the Karimnagar Orthopaedic surgeons association (KOSA) for conducting the state annual conference in Karimnagar town and helping the junior doctors to get exposed to latest technology and expertise from senior doctors. On this occasion, KOSA and TOSACON organisers felicitated the Karimnagar MP. TOSACON state leaders Dr Guruva Reddy, Dr Motilal, Dr Bangari Swamy and others were also present.
