Fifth Telangana state medical and sales representatives’ association state conference in Karimnagar on March 9

KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 08, 2024: The Telangana Medical and Sales Representatives Union (TMSRC) would be conducting its fifth biennial state level conference at Padmashali kalyana mandapam in Karimnagar town on March 9, 2024.

Senior IMA leader Dr Edavelli Vijayender Reddy, All India Insurance employees’ association (AIIEA) former general secretary K Venugopal, Federation of Medical and Sales Representatives Associations of India (FMRAI) president Ramesh Sunder would attend the conference.

Disclosing this to newsmen in Karimnagar town on Friday, TMSRC state general secretary I Raju Bhat said that the government should take measures to reduce the prices of all medicines for the benefit of the patients. Appealing the government to ensure zero GST for all medicines and medical appliances, he said that the government should take measures to stop the sale of medicines through online mode.

He also demanded that the government should take measures for the revival of the government sector of drugs and medical appliances manufacturing units. He also urged the government to allow the medical representatives to discharge their duties in the central and state government hospitals. He also appealed to the government to take measures to protect the rights of the medical representatives.
