Dr Polasa Ram Kiran wins best IMA president national award

KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 29, 2024: Dr Polasa Ram Kiran, president of district unit of Indian Medical Association, received the best IMA president national award.  He received the national award from IMA state president Dr Kaliprasad and past president Dr BN Rao and other leaders Dr K Prasad, Dr Vijay Rao, Dr G Suresh, Dr Ravinder Reddy, Dr Mahesh, Dr Vijay and others.

The award was conferred after evaluating the performances of all branches of the IMA in them country. The major evaluation parameters include active participation in IMA activities both at the state and national levels, improving the doctor-patient relationship while rendering quality medical services.

Elated after being honoured with the best national president award by the IMA, Dr Ram Kiran said, “This award is the outcome of joint efforts of the IMA Karimnagar team. I am grateful to the team members for extending support and standing rock solid with decisions whenever needed.”

IMA Karimnagar general secretary Dr Venkat Reddy said that the Karimnagar chapter of IMA had won accolades in the country for adoption of record number of villages under ‘Aao Gaon Chale programme’ and provide medical services to the rural people at their doorstep and launching health awareness programmes. The IMA Karimnagar fraternity congratulated Dr Ram Kiran on his achievement and bringing laurels to the district chapter of IMA.
