
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 26, 2024: A cake mixing ceremony at KIMS College of Hotel Management in Karimnagar town, brought back the good old memories of Christmas celebrations that used to start a month prior to Christmas.
The ceremony began with chef and faculty members guiding guests including Municipal Commissioner Chahat Bajpai to mix an array of ingredients, including black currant, golden apricot, rum-soaked figs, drunk resins, dates, candied orange peel, ginger, dry cherries, pumpkin along with rum and brandy to make a perfect Christmas cake. .

Speaking on the occasion, Chahat Bajpai said the traditional Christmas cake was part of the festivity. She said that the Hotel Management sector is playing a crucial role in the promotion of Tourism. KIMS Group of Institutions Chairman Periyala Ravinder Rao said that the Hotel management course was having ample employment opportunities with the growth in the tourism sector.
KIMS Vice Chairman Periyala Saketh Rama Rao congratulated the students for actively participating in the cake mixing ceremony, which is considered as a ritual to usher in the festive season. Director Dr Shalini, Principals Anush Reddy and Arjun Rao, Faculty members Gautham, Yashwanth, Sathish, Ajay, Chandrakala, more than 300 students and their parents participated.
