KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 26, 2024: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Nagunuru, Karimnagar, on Tuesday commemorated the 75th Constitution to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India.
On this occasion, Principal T Malathi paid floral tributes to the portrait of Father of Indian Constitution Dr BR Ambedkar. The students and teachers took oath to protect the Constitution.
Speaking on the occasion, Malathi said that the “Constitution has provided the citizens with rights, responsibilities and duties.” She stressed that the citizens must perform their duties and responsibilities well. Political science HoD P Shankaraiah and History lecturer Jahnavi also enlightened the students on the importance of Constitution. Vice Principal G. Samatha, Office superintendent T Suresh Kumar, faculty members S Pamaja, E Venkateswarlu NSS programme officer K Geetha Rani and others were also present.
