TUWJ Karimnagar district unit new body elected

TUWJ leaders said that the Media Academy chairman was holding parleys with the government for the allocation of house sites to the journalists.

The meeting also demanded the government to register a rowdy-sheet case against filmstar Mohan Babu for attacking journalist

KARIMNAGAR, DECEMBER 16, 2024:  Gandla Srinivas has been elected as the president of Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ) Karimnagar district unit affiliated to IJU for which elections were conducted on Sunday.

Koyyada Chandrashekhar has been elected as general secretary, Gajula Venkatesh as treasurer, Gangla Sampath, Shailender and Md Shukoor as the vice presidents, D Sampath, Polu Sampath and Chirra Tirupati as the joint secretaries.

The executive committee members include; Jannaram Srinivas, K Ganga Raju, Aleti Srinivas, K Venugopal, Kondra Vijayshankar, B Tirupati, D Rajshekhar, K Raghu, Md Rafi, Rendla Narsingam, Kothapalli Chethan Kranthi, Sircilla Anil Kumar, Mohsin, Dodde Kumaraswamy, Burra Parushuram, Sarabudla Raji Reddy. The National EC member Nagunuri Shekhar and state eC member Elgandal Ravinder participated in the first meeting of the newly elected union.

Earlier, the TUWJ Karimnagar district general body meeting was conducted at LMD colony under the ad hoc committee convenor Nagunuri Shekhar. TUWJ state president Virasat Ali and general secretary Ram Narayana participated as chief guests.
