KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 09, 2024: The Telangana State Public Service Commission Group-I Preliminary examination passed off peacefully in various examination centres in Karimnagar district on Sunday.
Against a total of 18,663 candidates enrolled, 14,477 candidates had appeared in the examination and 4086 candidates abstained due to various reasons. Additional Collector Praful Desai visited various examination centres and inspected the arrangements.
The officials have made special arrangements of shifting them to the examination hall by providing wheelchairs. Besides, the authorities had allowed scribes for the benefit of specially abled persons to write the exam.
The police have unprecedented security arrangements by deploying additional police security at all the centres and also imposing section 144 to avoid any untoward incidents. The authorities had also installed the CCTV cameras at all the examination centres.
