KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 01, 2024: The Telangana Employees Associations Joint Action Committee (JAC) Karimnagar district unit leaders staged a massive dharna in front of the Collectorate in Karimnagar town on Sunday demanding the government to restore the Old Pension Scheme and rejected the attempt to shift to the Unified Pension Scheme (UPS).;
JAC leaders of employees, Gazetted officers, teachers, workers and pensioners have observed a black day and staged a dharna by wearing a black dress. On this occasion, they raised slogans opposing CPS and UPS and demanded only OPS for the welfare of the employees and teachers after their retirement.
TNGOs leaders Srinivas Reddy, STU leader Raji Reddy, CDPO Uma Rani and others participated in the dharna braving inclement weather conditions.
