KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 29, 2024: As part of series of activities conducted as part of the Innofest-24, intra and inter college technical festival, the students of Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (autonomous), on the outskirts of Karimnagar town participated in a rangoli competition on the college campus on Friday.
Students depicted various themes, including the Bala Ram temple in Ayodhya, educating the people to desist from getting addicted to social media and other social and current issues. The students depicted the current issues of female foeticide, dowry, acid attack and environment conservation, among others, showed how sensitive and responsible they are towards society.
JITS chairman J Sagar Rao, Principal KS Rao, Deans K Vaishali, P Sampath Rao, faculty members and others inspected the Rangolies and lauded the efforts made by the girl students. The best rangolies would be given cash prizes during the annual day celebrations on Saturday.
Earlier, the JITS chairman inaugurated food stall as part of the Innofest celebrations on the campus. The students set up various food courts to serve the delicious food such as pani puri, ice creams, grilled chicken, fruit salads, juices, water bottles etc.
