JAGTIAL, JUNE 20, 2024: New Jagtial Collector B Satya Prasad has made a surprise visit to the Government general hospital in Jagtial town on Thursday.
He inspected all the wards, ICU, operation theatre, male and female wards, CT scan, scanning room, X-ray, cancer treatment centre and physiotherapy centre for the senior citizens. On this occasion, he interacted with the patients and inquired about the treatment being provided by the government doctors.
Expressing concern over poor sanitation in the hospital, he directed the sanitation authorities to ensure that there was round clock sanitation in the hospital. Educating the patients about the importance of purchasing medicines at generic medical stores, he also inspected the attendance register of the staff. Hospital superintendent Dr Ramulu, RMO Dr Rajendra Prasad, doctors and others were also present.
It may be recalled that B Satya Prasad has assumed charge as the new Collector of Jagtial district on Wednesday from Yasmeen Basha, who was transferred. In the meantime, the district officials have made a beeline to meet and greet new Collector by presenting him with bouquets and shawls.
