Thanks to the unscientific execution of Smart City works wherein the so-called ‘visionary leaders’ had converted wide roads into narrow roads, had created havoc in Karimnagar town with traffic snarls

The future of Karimnagar town would be very horrible in future with narrow roads and the addition of more vehicles
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 03, 2025: Members of the local Muslim community under the leadership of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Karimnagar chapter, organised a protest march from Indira Chowk to the Collectorate to protest against the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025, in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
The protestors alleged that the Waqf Act was unconstitutional and the BJP-led Central Government had intentions to take possession of the Waqf properties all over the country. They further demanded that the Waqf Amendment Act should be cancelled and no implementation of any provision of the Waqf Act should be done till the final orders of the Supreme Court over the matter.
The district convener, Mufthi Md Younus Quasmi, Co-convenor Hafiz Rizwan, Md Muneebuddin, and others were also present. On the other hand, the Karimnagar town had come to stand standstill following the procession by Muslim organisations. Thanks to the unscientific execution of the Smart City works, wherein the so-called leaders had converted wide roads into narrow roads just to swindle ‘commission’ for so-called CC roads. The future would be even worse with the addition of more vehicles, including autorickshaws and authorised auto-stands in various parts of Karimnagar town.
