


Later in the evening, from 4 pm to 6 pm, the Pushpayagam was held in the temple’s Unjal Mandapam, with the priests chanting Vedic mantras. A total of three tonnes of flowers were offered to the utsava deities, including 12 types of flowers and six types of leaves. Donors from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka donated these traditional and ornamental flowers.
The devotees were enthralled by the visual grandeur of this flower festival. Pushpayagam is usually observed as a sin-free ritual. Deputy EO B Nagaratna, Garden Deputy Director Srinivasulu, AEO Ravi, Superintendent and other officials and a large number of devotees participated in this programme.
