KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 26, 2024: An elderly woman complained of her four sons with the LMD police station in Karimnagar stating that her children abandoned her and did not even serve food to her.
The LMD police, who have registered a case, said that following a complaint lodged by Narsavva of Alugunuru village in Thimmapur mandal. She told the police that she had nurtured and ensured that her four sons settled in life and distributed her properties equally.
She was residing in a small hut. She informed the police that she was being ill-treated and not even providing her food. She along with the support of the locals visited the police station and complained. The police registered the case invoking provisions of the Indian Penal Code and The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.
