RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 20, 2024: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has participated in the developmental works to the tune of Rs 679 crore including inaugurations in the Vemulawada temple town on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister along with Ministers N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, Thummala Nageshwar Rao, Damodar Rajanarsimha, Government Whip Adi Srinivas, MLC T Jeevan Reddy, PCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLAs and MLCs and others offered prayers at Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam. The CM also participated in the ‘kode mokku’ (ritual of tying an ox) at the temple shrine. The temple priests presented the CM and other dignitaries with prasadam, portraits of the shrine and shawls.
Later, the Chief Minister laid foundation stones and commenced works for the construction of buildings meant for various development programmes and houses under Indiramma housing scheme in Rajanna Sircilla District. He performed ‘Bhoomi Puja’ for the construction of Indiramma houses for 4696 displaced families of Mid Manair Reservoir at a cost of Rs.235 crores.
Laid foundation stone for the construction of Yarn Depot which is being taken up at the cost of Rs 50 crores. The Chief Minister rolled out the road expansion works from Mula Vaagu Bridge to Devasthanam at the cost of Rs 45 crores.
Bhoomi Puja is performed for the construction of medical college and hostel block costing Rs 166 crores. The CM laid foundation stone for the construction of Annadana Satram at the cost Rs.35 crores at temple shrine.
The Chief Minister launched works for the construction of high level bridge in Konaraopet mandal with Rs 52 crores and also laid the foundation stone for drain works to be constructed at a cost of 3 crores. Works for the Advance Technology Center in Rudrangi Mandal and Junior College building in Medipalli mandal are started.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone for SP office (Rs 26 crores) in Sircilla, District Library building (Rs 45 lakhs) in Vemulawada and working women’s hostel building which is being constructed at the cost of Rs 4.80 crore.
